Entrepreneurship
It is an interesting way to look at things as an entrepreneurship
way of life. Seeing things as a person with a certain view upon the world as an
entrepreneur is really interesting. How to choose between the “wanna-bs” and
the ones who really have what it takes. There does seem to be a solid line with
the people who have the tenacity to really go for it, and others who just come
up with the ideas. I mainly felt that it takes more than just a really amazing
idea.
Entrepreneurs are also leaders; I found that to be a
complete true statement. I also do understand how this is contrary to the
popular belief of entrepreneurs being “lone wolfs”. A lot of people look from
the outside in of the equation and do see that the entrepreneur seems to take
on the task completely unto them. However, a successful person also needs to
find resources to help their ideas. If you have a person who doesn’t understand
marketing for example, but understands all aspects of accounting, their
marketing would be lacking. Therefore, I feel to be successful you need to find
other successful networking people to bounce ideas and concepts off from. It is
also imperative to employee such people on your board.
Courage is definitely a defining trait when it comes to the entrepreneur.
They need to be able to persuade others of their ideas, and to acquire a
certain amount of fearlessness. Need to make sure that other people believe it
if you believe it yourself.
